During my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes.

I didn’t want to depend on medication,so I started researching. And what I found changed how I saw food entirely.

Our local delicacies. The ones many of us grew up eating and quietly walked away from. They were full of nutrients. Full of intention. Full of healing.

So I started cooking them for myself. Then for the people around me. And slowly, what began as a personal decision became the heartbeat of Etcetera Foods.

We were known for intercontinental dishes. But that season of my life changed everything.
