Supper happy to have this house coffee from as our house espresso! This Indian anaerobic washed has some good body and feels like velvet on your tongue. It’s a festive hug in a cup with notes of pear liquor and ferrero rocher. Come try for yourself! 🎊

For all of you who thrive in the mornings and for all of you who really don’t and urgently need a coffee as soon as they wake up: we’re here for you. Except on Tuesdays though, sorry about that. We’ll go back to being open 7 days a week again in the future, so no worries, it’s temporary 🤍

Some answers for (and from?) the people!

It was really fun finding out about this reddit page and reading all the answers and speculations. But to bring some clarity, here is our own take on the question.

First: we’re sorry it took us so long to give a proper update about the van. We just had a hard time making a decision, and running a café in the meantime did not really leave us with a lot of spare time to work it out.

Anyways: let’s rip off the band aid. We had hoped to be back at the bridge this spring, but unfortunately there is still no electricity point for us there. So, we had to decide to give up on our spot on the bridge for now :( that’s sad, because we truly miss this beautiful place and would have loved to come back there again.

At the same time, we’re really happy and grateful for what we have at carolieweg. We have really enjoyed opening and running our café over the past 6 months and there is a lot of fun stuff to look forward to. So we’ve not really vanished ;-)

Come visit us if you haven’t yet - but also if you have. We’ll make you a nice coffee.

We can’t wait any longer! The café is not finished yet, but we’re opening our doors 🥳

Whilst we’re working on stuff at the back, you can get your coffee at our take away bar at the front. And you’ll find a small shop filled with nice stuff to gift to someone during the holidays - or to treat yourself with, of course. 🎁 Come say hi :) Hope to see you at Carolieweg 11 🤍
