Prosperity Toss Salad is a part of
the Chinese New Year celebrations,
especially in Malaysia and Singapore.
Each ingredient represents something good: wealth, longevity, success, happiness.
It involves a group of people gathering
around a big plate of salad and shouting blessings whilst tossing the ingredients up in the air. The higher the better !!!

red pomelo, carrot, white radish,
cucumber, cilantro, pickled ginger,
wonton skin, with on the side a sweet
plum dressing, peanut, sesame seed
