For our first STAFF TAKE OVER, we are excited to showcase Japan with Rei, who has been a part of the KAAP kitchen for ten years.

Originally from Japan’s Kansai region, Rei moved to the Netherlands in 2011 to study in Arnhem before settling in Rotterdam. With a decade of experience, precision, and dedication, he brings his artistic skills to our kitchen.

On Wednesday, November 4, Rei will share some of his favorite Japanese dishes, a selection of special sakes, and the art of making the perfect onigiri in a small workshop.

Join us for an evening filled with Japanese food, sake, and craftsmanship.

Trying to capture the abundance of the late summer. We marinate; we make oils, extracts and syrups. Some are fresh and floral; others are spicy and earthy. To be used in the coming colder months!

Een poging om de overvloed van de na-zomer te vangen. We marineren, maken olies, extracten en siropen. Sommigen fris en bloemig, andere kruidig en aards. Om in de komende koudere maanden te gebruiken!
