Wij zijn Suvai B.V. , een Indiaas restaurant, op zoek naar een gepassioneerde Zelfstandig werkende kok I, om ons team te versterken. Wilt u zich ontwikkelen en ervaring opdoen in onze keuken Dan kunt u ook solliciteren. Als onze Zelfstandig werkende kok I bent u verantwoordelijk voor de bereiding en presentatie van gerechten en maaltijdcomponenten. U krijgt van ons training. Wat zijn uw taken:
- Selecteren, voorbereiden (wassen, snijden, mengen e.d)
- Uitvoeren van tussentijdse controles (gaarheid, smaak, kleur e.d.)
- Zorgen voor consistente kwaliteit en hygiëne;
- Bijhouden van voorraden, bestellen van ingrediënten en controleren van leveringen;
- Dagelijks schoonmaken van de werkomgeving, keukenapparatuur en werkstations;
- Melden van technische mankementen en eenvoudige storingen oplossen;
- Levert input t.a.v. de samenstelling en wijziging van menu’s, kaart en methoden.

- Je werkt met overtuiging en durft verantwoordelijkheid te nemen.
- MBO-3 werk- en denkniveau. (Voldoe je toch niet aan de eisen, Solliciteer Toch!
- Aantoonbare kennis van de basis kooktechnieken;

Job Vacancy: Independent Working Chef

Job Description
We are looking for 2 passionate Independent Chef Level I to join our team.

Do you want to thrive in our kitchen? As our chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes and meal components. You will be trained. Our restaurant is located at Van Eysingalaan 388, Utrecht. Interested? Please get in touch with us via email: info@suvai,nl.

Your Responsibilities:
- Selecting, preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.), and cooking dishes according to recipes.
- Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, colour, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
- Coordinating and directing (assistant) chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintaining inventory, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
- Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
- Providing input on menu composition, changes, and methods.
