My love of baking started as a child when I got an "Easy Bake Oven" for my birthday, and after that, there was no stopping me from testing out all of my recipes on my family...the good ones and the bad (but really, how bad ca
n cake be?) :) Now, after marrying a Norwegian man and moving back to my roots here in Norway, I'm ready to share my love of American style cakes & treats with all of you! I can promise you that you will fall in love with the sweet bites of perfection and will ultimately understand first hand why "It Tastes Like More!"
So, let's talk about Cake! Here at Heidi's Cakery, we can make anything you can imagine...and if you need help imagining it, we can get creative for you! From the simplest cake to the most extravagant, we do it all! Wedding, Baby Shower, Birthday, Anniversary, Confirmation, Baptism...we do cakes for every special occasion! Our special occasion cakes start at kr. 1 800 for a single tiered cake. We can do cakes that have two, three, four, five, six, seven, and even eight or more tiers! The pricing of each special occasion cake depends on the detail and work that goes into the decorations. So for example, a two tiered cake with no handmade decorations would start at kr. 2 800. A three tiered cake, covered in handmade sugar decorations would start at kr. 10 000. All special occasion cakes require a complimentary consultation before starting the project. Take a look at our photos for some examples and send us an email or give us a call! Cheesecake...it's my most favorite cake in the entire world! I love to eat them, make them, and watch people's faces the first time they try a bite of one of my creations! All of my cheesecakes are authentic New York Style Cheesecakes which means they are all baked...none of that no-bake stuff here! You can choose from some of the most popular flavors like Classic Plain Vanilla, Vanilla Bean, Caramel Apple, Raspberry White Chocolate, Blueberry White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Raspberry, Toasted Marshmallow Sweet Potato, Pumpkin, Caramelized Pear, and Bananas Foster! Or, if you're more adventurous, you can tell me what flavors you like most and I can customize something just for you! All of our large cheesecakes are 10 inch (25.4 cm) in diameter. We also have some baby cheesecakes that can be added on to a large cheesecake order or ordered alone when you order at least five of them. Our large cheesecakes start at kr. 895 and serve between 16-20 people. Please see our photos for some examples and some pricing! Send us an email or call us at least a week in advance to place an order! Lets talk about American Style Pies, Bars, Cookies, and Cake Pops! We can make yummy treats for any occasion. If you need something for a board meeting, office treats, party treats, or just because you want something sweet...simply let us know what you'd like (at least a week in advance) and we'll get right on it! Something that is very special about Heidi's Cakery is that almost everything that is made has ingredients that have been imported from the USA and aren't available here in Norway, giving the cake or yummy treat a very special flavor.
