LA VENTANA BY BURRØ
As life often goes, we know change is coming, yet we never truly feel ready—even when it’s the right step forward.
For a long time, we searched for a new home in Stavanger. Our beloved Eiganesveien 1, filled with so many memories, began to whisper that it was time to move on. We listened, we looked, but no place felt quite right. Then, a thought emerged—one that might tug at your hearts, as it did ours.
We are creatures of the sun, drawn to warmth, laughter, and the energy of people. And so, we have decided to follow that light. This means saying goodbye to Burrø—not forever, but for now—so we can pour our hearts into something new, something that beats in rhythm with our souls.
Perhaps this news stings, just a little. But don’t be sad—this is not an end, only the turning of a page. Because come May, we will return with a new adventure: La Ventana by Burrø. A window into a world of flavors, a taste of summer, a place where the breeze carries the scent of the Caribbean rather than the North Sea.
Imagine juicy Mexican tacos made from scratch, fresh Guatemalan ceviche kissed by citrus, and the Spanish croquetas you’ve come to love. A place where every bite feels like sunshine, where every meal is a journey.
To all of you who made Burrø more than just a restaurant—who filled it with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments—thank you. You were our strength when we worked for ten with the hands of two, when the days were long but the joy was endless. Your kindness, your smiles, your love—these are the flavors that linger the longest.
So, we don’t say goodbye, only hasta pronto. The adventure continues, and we hope you’ll step through La Ventana with us.
