And then it was the season of Advent at Smedstua 🥰

A thousand thank yous from Smedstua; the weather gods were kind, so many beautiful and familiar faces and an extra special thank you to an Australian angel-guest who came bearing a precious little gift from Australia in case I was homesick 🥹 Tim tams are an Australian icon and so good! What she didn't know is that they are on my son's wish list! So what a wonderful surprise awaited him in the first window of the advent calendar! Thank you so much!

Australian Christmas cake ❤️🇦🇺 a very close cousin of the British version, is loaded with plumped raisins, apricots, cranberries, dates, plumbs and festive spices.

These dense parcels can be served warm with custard (vanilje saus) or room temperature (slathered in butter if you share my tastes 🤩)

Good things come in threes and this little box of guilt-free pleasure contains

3 x pistachio and cranberry bliss balls
3 x pepperkake truffles

These little sweeties are sweetened with either dates or maple syrup, are gluten and lactose free and completely raw.

A MIDWINTER NIGHT'S DREAM is back this year ✨

We will be getting our cozy on, as we open our Christmas shop, brimming with gifts that are handmade, botanical, edible or just simply beautiful.

We will be serving classic Christmas warmers including julegrøt, gløgg, warm chocolate, and Christmas coffee from , to enjoy by the fire outside.
