Why do we call our sandwiches "Rewa"? 🤔

Because Rewa is Manurewa -where it all started for me with my first business, Smokys.

I had no experience back then, just making mistakes & learning as I went. But the Manurewa community backed me from day one and helped turn it into something special 🙌

Even after moving on, many of those original customers still support Jax today 🫶

Without Smokys Manurewa, there’d be no Jax Burger Shack.

So calling our sandwiches "Rewa" is my way of giving credit to the place and people who made it all possible 💯 The sandwiches we're now making are based off the ones we made there too 😎

You may not have known...

But we've welcomed our 3rd baby into the world recently, & couldn't be happier! 👶🏼

As many of you know, Jax is a true family business. Between raising 3 young kids and running 2 stores, life can be a little chaotic at times haha. We wouldn't have it any other way though 💯

We just wanted to say thank you 🙏 Every burger you buy, every post you engage with, & every time you choose Jax (over countless other options), you're helping support our family and our epic staff team.
