Dear customers

As of 01/12 William and his family will no longer be the owners of Ken Yakitori Bar. We have run this store for the past 17 years and we feel like it is time to move on. We have always been grateful to our regulars and customers we have come to befriend and share our food with.

For 17 years we have seen families grow and people come and go and we will remember these memories fondly. We thank you for your support this entire time once again.

For the next few months youll still see William at the shop teaching the new owners what the Ken Yakitori Howick standard is but after that, itll be all them.

So thank you. For supporting us all these years.

We wish you a happy easter weekend!

Our opening hours for easter will be:

Good Friday: Closed
Saturday: Open
Sunday: Open
Easter Monday: Closed

and we will operate as per normal from Tuesday

Dear Customers,

Due to the internet outage in the area for the past 3 days, we will be closing our doors for at least till Wed 30 March. We hope Chorus can speed up and restore the network soon so we can open our doors again as per normal times

We have had an outage on our internet lines for the past 3 days so we can only accept bank transfer or cash only.

Dear customers,

After observing changes in Red settings we have come to a decision to shorten our hours from 5:30pm - 10/10:30pm to 5:30pm - 9:30pm across the opening days.

We hope you will understand that this is so we can keep our doors open through these times.

Just a small update on our opening days over the christmas period:

We will be closed from 25/12 till 04/01/2022 reopening on the 5th of January.

We should not be disposing your mask for you since this is a biohazard risk. Please. Dispose of it in the bins yourself or take it with you.

We are back at full steam with indoor seating again since we can now!

Please note we will be following the governments guidelines for vaccine passes and scanning everyone who wishes to sit inside for a meal.

Hope to see everyone in back soon!

We've decided to change our hours temporarily while we are unable to open for indoor seating.

The new hours for take away only are as follows:

Tue-Sat, 5:30pm - 8pm.

Until we are able to open for indoor seating and serving those will be our times of operation.
