A continuation of the home's warm, natural palette, this custom vanity combines dark stained veneer with Dekton Radium to create a space that's both practical and timeless.

The floating vanity enhances the room's calm, refined aesthetic while providing generous storage, with durable materials selected to stand up to everyday use.

Designed by Sam Baxter and Peta Davy , Carlielle was proud to manufacture and install the custom cabinetry throughout the home.

Melamine or Veneer?

It’s one of the most common questions we get when designing a kitchen.

Both are excellent materials, but they offer different benefits depending on your budget, lifestyle and the look you’re trying to achieve.

Melamine is durable, low maintenance and available in an extensive range of colours and timber-look finishes.

Veneer is made from real timber, bringing natural warmth, texture and unique grain to every project.

Neither option is right or wrong—it simply comes down to what’s best for your home.

Rather than simply providing a place for styling, this custom shelving detail was designed to become a feature in its own right—adding character and materiality to the kitchen before a single object is displayed.

Crafted from antique-finished brass, oak veneer shelving with solid brass faceplates, integrated recessed LED lighting softly highlights the warmth and richness of the natural materials.

Designed as a continuous architectural volume, this kitchen balances clean lines, functionality, and natural materiality.

Timber veneer joinery wraps the space, seamlessly concealing storage and appliances while creating a sense of visual calm throughout. The result is a kitchen that feels less like a collection of cabinetry and more like an integrated part of the home - considered, cohesive, and timeless.
