The Best Arepa! 🏅

​Throughout the week, you all voted to choose the best arepa in the Olas Arepas World Cup. We had our own internal bets, but you surprised us with something much more flattering.

​The winner of this battle was the Arepa Pabellon. This arepa combines two of the most important Venezuelan dishes: the arepa and the "pabellón criollo", our national dish 🇻🇪

​Maybe you didn’t know that and just voted for its incredible flavor 🤤, but for us, it is a huge source of pride that you chose it. To us, tradition, Latin flavor, and Venezuela won! 🫶🇻🇪

​Thank you all so much for participating! From now on, when someone asks us which arepa is the best, we’ll be able to say with great pride (and proof): THE PABELLON AREPA! 🇻🇪

Goodbye 2025! 🌊

​This year was full of challenges, welcomes and goodbyes, changes, growth, celebrations, hurdles, and solutions. A year that, thanks to our amazing team, we successfully rode the Olas! 🏄‍♂️

​On behalf of this great team, we want to thank all of you—the ones who visit us every day, and those who come by whenever that craving hits.

​Thank you to our "regulars"—those who used to follow our food truck all those years ago, those who come every week for the exact same arepa, and those who visit us every time they pass through Auckland. And a huge thank you to the new faces, those who just discovered us, and those we’ll likely be seeing a lot more of.

​Thank you for joining us on this journey. We truly appreciate your greetings, your compliments, your messages, the chats, and even your requests for "extra chimichurri." Everything we do is for you, and receiving so much love confirms that we’re on the right track 🫶
