A little note to our locals 💛

One thing we hear a lot is 'Arbour is always full.' Which makes us feel very cool 😎… but we definitely have plenty of space May to November.

We are often full over summer, of course. But what Marlborough calls 'tourist season' feels more like visitation season for us. It’s you booking most of our summer seats, and we LOVE that. You’re out showing friends and family around, catching up, celebrating, and booking tables sometimes before flights are even confirmed 🥹.

It creates a really special atmosphere; a hidden little garden restaurant in the middle of nowhere, filled with love and laughter.

At this time of year, unless you hear otherwise from me, assume you can call up and we'll find a warm seat for you 🌿
