Richard’s Real Kitchen will be selling fresh ready to eat meals at The Real Kitchen, Hayton Road Monday to Wednesday. Del

ivery options are also available locally and around New Zealand. There are meals in a Richard's Real Kitchen Classics range that are available all week and are suitable for storage unfrozen for up to 5 days and longer frozen. And there are Fresh meals that are designed to be picked up and eaten on that day. Meals that in some cases will not freeze. This range of Today’s fresh meals are made on the day you consume them so are fresh, delicious and especially nutritious. There are many gluten free, vegetarian and some paleo meal options. To order download the RichardsRealKitchen app on Apple or Android phones. Every Thursday the menu for the following week will be uploaded and you'll be notified on your phone. I'll also put it here on Facebook. I’m not entirely sure what will suit you, the customer, best so I’m very keen to hear what you want and when you want it. You might want dishes that make dinner party entertaining easy for Friday and Saturday night, or you just may want single serve, fresh and delicious meals for week nights when you don’t have the time to shop and cook after a busy day. The dinner forecast from us here at RRK is much more positive.

Beef Goulash: a really lovely beef braise. Tender beef cooed in a beef stock, tomato and paprika sauce. Garnished with sour cream and served with buttered macaroni. I love this dish. Reminds me of my mothers cooking.

Chicken Cacciatore: Chicken cooked with tomato, olives, capers, herbs onions and garlic. An Italian country classic. Served with roasted paprika potatoes. (GF, DF)

Vegetable and Chickpea Curry: Many many types of vegetable in a lovely gentle coconut cream curry sauce. It feels like just the other day we made this and we sold out so quickly. Ever popular it seems! (GF, DF, V)

Roast Beef Ribeye: with mushroom cream sauce and potato gratin. Simple luxurious and very delicious. (GF)

Coming Wednesday

Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding: roast beef, roast vegetables, peas, rich beef gravy and yorkshire puddings. Everything a roast beef meal should be.

Winter weather calls for hearty winter nourishment. Here's what we'll be cooking next week to provide good quality nourishment ALONG WITH hearty comfort and dining pleasure.

Teriyaki Chicken: Chargrilled boneless chicken, finished in teriyaki sauce, and served with basmati and vegetables. Always popular! (GF, DF)

Beef Bourguignon: The prince, maybe even the king of beef braises. With pearl onions, mushrooms, red win, bacon, and of course fall apart tender beef cooked long and slow. Served with baked potato, roasted carrots and garlic butter. It's one of our most popular meals. (GF)

Mushroom Crepes: Tender crepes filled with mushroom, cream and cheese, and baked under cheese sauce. Served with julienne carrot and potato gratin.

Coming Wednesday

Chicken and Spinach Lasagna: a beautiful white lasagna. Chicken, cream, cheeses and served with pesto, Italian Tomato sauce and parmesan.

Coq au Vin: We've not had this off the menu for 10 years and it's always popular. Chicken cooked with red wine, mushroom and onions, served with potato gratin and green beans. (GF)

A lot of fresh meal, plus we've stocked up frozen favourites and made a batch of extremely delicious Chicken Broth.

It's very flavoursome and is the perfect remedy when you're feeling unwell with winter colds and flus.

Spag Bol: rich, extremely delicious beef ragu on spaghetti with a generous handful of shredded parmesan. Classic comfort food.
Corned Silverside & Mustard Sauce: with mashed potatoes, carrots, parsnips and pearl onions and the delicious mustard sauce.

By the time we're making, packing and sending these meals out to you next week, we'll be past the longest night / shortest day.

Do remember that when the days lengthen, the cold strengthens! So proper winter is in front of us.....but it's lovely to know that the days are starting (ever so slowly at 1st) to stretch out again.

Great meals as always, but these are massively popular meals that we struggle to keep up with the demand for. Keep warm, enjoy the sight of snow on the alps and enjoy these great meals coming next week.

More delicious meals. It's another delicious week. Our Beef Stroganoff has a huge army of fans, so they'll be happy. We call our version a Ukranian Stroganoff. Stroganoff being usually associated with imperial Russia. We prefer to make Stroganoff than war. There's plenty else that's delicious this week. Keep warm!

A meal from the great 80s Wellington restaurant The Mexican Cantina's Menu. There may be one of 2 of you who remember that place. (V, GF)

We sold out of last weeks large batch of Lamb Shanks in record time.....about 4 hours! I guess it's lamb shank weather! We're putting our back into producing an even larger batch this week.

Panko Crumbed Chicken Schnitzel: with ham, Italian Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, and Paprika Potatoes.

Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf: A great meatloaf, made better by being wrapped in bacon! Served with mash, a rich browned onion gravy and green beans. (GF)

Roast Beef Ribeye: with rich cream mushroom and masala sauce. Served with potato gratin. (GF)
