For those of you who didn't know, Kalle and I were in Rotorua for the last couple of days for the NZ Hospitality Awards. Sadly, it just wasn't our night.
Congratulations to John and Rachel and the team at Sprig+Fern Berhampore for winning "Best Local" - They're great people, go visit next time you're in Wellington!
Congratulations to Little Blackwood in Queenstown for winning "Best Bar" and to Little Savanna in Palmerston North for winning people's choice.
I am forever grateful to everyone who voted for us in "People's Choice" and we promise not to harass you again for another couple of years!
Being part of, and serving this community has been the most rewarding period of my life and I look forward to many more years of doing so! To our amazing team, I'm sorry that we couldn't bring home the silverware, but you're the reason we were even finalists in the first place 😍 Here's to 2027!
