I cannot express how deeply sorry I am to announce that as of today The Duck will be closed for the forseeable future. Please respect us at this time, we have a lot to go through and who knows what the future may hold.
I am so grateful to every person who has made the effort to support us over the years. We've shared so many laughs, triumphs and tears. You all are, and always will be, the reason The Duck existed.
The love I have been shown by the whole community and staff (past and present) cannot be expressed in words. I know you will all continue to care for and support each other through whatever the future throws at you.

So how do we get to Macandrew Bay, you ask. It's easy! You can -
🦆Park at Company Bay and walk along Te Awa Ōtākau (20 min)
🦆Cycle or run from Portsmouth Drive
🦆Catch the 18 bus (still running like regular)
🦆Walk down the Greenacres track from Pukehiki
🦆Bribe traffic management
