🚀 LOADING… COMPLETE! 🚀

The wait is finally over! After some delays, we’re excited to announce that we’re opening an outlet in the university library building! Our soft opening is happening TOMORROW! 🎉

For the first week, we’ll be serving everyone’s favorites, with plans to expand the menu as we go.

We originally hoped to open at the start of the new semester, but good things take time! Thank you for your patience. Come check out the shop, say hi, and show some love—your support means everything! 💙

Happy New Year, everyone!

We hope you had a fantastic holiday season. Some of you may be wondering why we haven't opened our doors yet. Unfortunately, Richard pulled a muscle during the holiday break, making it difficult for him to move around comfortably.

Reflecting back on the 2023, which turned out to be one of the toughest for us, given the ongoing construction and broader economic challenges, it felt like a real sucker punch—especially considering the aftermath of COVID on our business. The cumulative impact has left Richard and the team feeling completely burnt out.

Despite the setbacks, we've taken this time to reevaluate and make some positive changes. We appreciate your patience as we've held back to recover and regroup. Please bare with us as we make new improvemnts throughout the shop.

Please note that there will be a slight increase in prices. We're making this adjustment to ensure that we can continue providing you with the quality service and experience you deserve. We're committed to being more vigilant, improving our offerings, and introducing a fresh new menu.

Starting tomorrow, we're excited to announce that we'll be reopening!

WE ARE HIRING!

We are a fun and friendly takeaway looking for passionate and hard-working individuals to join our hospitality team. If you have a love for food, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for both full time and part time either FOH/kitchen hand position.

Responsibilities:
Providing excellent customer service
Taking orders and serving food and drinks
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Helping with prepping and just giving hand preparing meals,

Requirements:
Positive and friendly attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience in a similar role (preferred, but not necessary)

Richard and the team at miga hako would like to say big thank you for supporting us this year. It has been another tough year for everyone but we made it through with all your lovely support.

We will be closed from 24th of Dec 2022 till 9th of Jan 2023.
