This wee dude thought he'd do a quick oil check while some customers had their lunch... It's currently moulting season for the locally found Tawaki/Fiordland crested penguins. They get a bit rough looking and don't feel so flash when they come up on land during moulting, so they may not notice dangers around them! Please take care to look for penguins on the road and around your parked vehicles!
