We are a small award winning brewery located in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay. We started out as a barebones, backyard operation but have recently moved to our new premises in central Hastings, with an onsite tasting room, cellar door and eatery. We like to think of ourselves as your neighbourhood brewery. We've grown a little, but our ethos hasn't changed. We make quality, flavourful beer and do our darnedest to ensure it's served fresh. Meet Matt - Founder, Head Brewer and wearer of many, many hats. He’s a pretty special part of Brave Brewing Co.

From an idea and a whole lot of determination, he’s slowly and organically built Brave Brewing Co. from the ground up.

He has achieved so much, but one of his greatest achievements has been building an incredible team. Matt has invested his time and knowledge into training and mentoring the people around him, creating a team that shares his passion for quality, consistency and craftsmanship.

The result is more than just great beer. It’s a team that takes pride in every batch and a brewery built on skill, collaboration, and a shared vision.
