It’s time!! (ish) it’s Monday!

This week we are definitely not making any wild political statements or controversial opinions.. we never do that..

This week is all about peace, unity and enjoying a good luncheon..

SPICE BAGS!! now all we need is an Irish win… lol 😂

Joking .. joking ok… although it would make RAD MUM happy

For quite some time now, my good friend David from has been asking me to make a “Spice Bag”. He kept telling me I’ve got everything here for it, I just need to put it together!
But to be perfectly honest, I had no idea what he was talking about 🤦‍♂️
So I read about them online, but I still wasn’t convinced they were any good, or whether they would sell or not.
However, on a recent trip to Christchurch to pick up a new food trailer (More info on that next week!!), I called into a bar called “Moon Under Water” for a pint and a bite to eat. And what do I see on the menu?? Spice Bag!!
So I figured I better try one!
Wow! I was blown away!
Fried chicken, chips, sautéed onions and capsicum, tossed in Chinese spices and chilli oil and served with a side of curry dipping sauce!
Rather than being spicy hot, it’s more of a Chinese style slightly numbing spicy, and oh so moreish!!
So, this Sunday, from 2pm until 4:30pm, we are going to be serving our version of a UK Spice Bag!
Karaage Fried Chicken Pieces, Chunky Chips, Sautéed Onions and Capsicums, tossed in a bowl with Chinese Seasoning and Crispy Chilli Oil and served in a bag with a side of our Curry Sauce!
And we will be offering this as a Gluten Free Option too!
Sunday Sessions Just Got Even Better!!

What a belter of a night!!! Thank you all.. we really needed that… your support means the absolute world to us…

I just spent a good twenty minutes trying to work out which key opened the door to my house .. that a great way of gauging how good it was 😛

Still plenty of the weekly special left and we are open as usual with no surcharge (never ever ever) tomorrow and Saturday!! Come on by for a new years feed!
