A story about our cashier 💰 - Maia
Most of you have met our cashier, Maia, at the Southern Farmers Market when you visited us, and some of you might have heard her singing. Yes, she loves to sing, and the story goes back a few years.
We were regular customers of the farmers market and also enjoyed Rob's music entertainment! It became one of the must-do things on Sundays - Open Mic with Rob! 🎤 It took Maia a couple of months to actually get up there and sing, but she did it with all the encouragement from Rob. Then we had trouble getting the mic off her.🤣
Soon she built up her confidence and found her voice, she started her own busking on Saturdays with her own page called Maia the busker in Inver. Her music journey has officially begun. Southland Vocal competition, Xmas on Esk, young talent at Southern Alive, and now the Gold Guitar in Gore 🎸 !!! She wouldn't be where she is without her mentor Rob.
I would love to take the chance to say thank you to Rob one more time (I'll never stop saying thank you to him)! Thank you for your support, and Maia wouldn't be where she is without you.
Long story short, we will be at the Gold Guitar Award on King's birthday weekend to support Maia, so we won't be at the farmers market. We will be back the week after, and you will hear all about it!
Thank you for all of your support so far! Your patience, honesty, and kindness mean the world to all of us!
