Take a nice dip in our refreshing swimming pool or have a cool beer after a tiring work shift. Our restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, from 18:00 to 20:30, with the last call for orders at 20:00, closed Sundays and public holidays. Our hotel is not pet friendly nor can we book long-staying guests or emergency housing, with reception hours from 07:00 to 21:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:00 to 17:0

JonJon, you've been with us for such a long time that it's hard to believe today is your last day of working with us.
We appreciate everything you did for us and all the things you've had to put up with over the years.

We bid farewell to an incredible young woman!
We are sad to see you go but happy to know that wherever you go and whatever you do, you will put 100% into absolutely everything, because that is the kind of person you are.
Thank you for all your years of service and making us smile on every shift.
We will miss having our kitchen jukebox on hand to brighten our nights.

Tonight we say bon voyage to a beautiful soul! Thank you for working with us for three years, Manaia, we wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavours.
We hope you have a wonderful time in Auckland and we will see you again when you start to get the cravings for a nice, rare steak and a camembert cheese.

RESTAURANT CLOSED 20-30/06/2025.
Kia ora Whanau! Due to unforseen circumstances, our restaurant will be closed from Matariki Friday 20th to Monday 30th June 2025.
We will be back open again on Tuesday 1st July, so please call us to make your bookings before we run out of openings!
I am not at liberty to say why we are closing down for this period of time as it is a personal family matter but we appreciate your understanding and look forward to hearing from you all!

We have a buffet on Saturday night and still need a few more people to fill up our tables!

Adults are $49.50 each, children from 6 to 15 are double their age (so if they're 10 years old, their meal would cost $20.00) and children aged 5 and under are free.

Kia ora whanau!

A beautiful tabby gave birth on our premises a few weeks back and we have been diligently taking care of them until they're old enough to adopt out.
Our two black kittens have loving homes but we are now looking for furever homes for our girls.
The tabby on the left is slightly smaller than her sister but just as rambunctious.
If anyone is interested in one or both of these sweethearts, please let us know!

15/12 UPDATE: Thank you all for your support! Our smaller tabby has now been adopted and our other tabby may be adopted out soon. I've had so many calls today regarding them and only a few able to come in to see them. If our bigger tabby gets adopted, I will let you all know but thank you all so much for your help in finding them homes! 💜💜

It has come to our attention that our opening hours are unclear so I will post this notice that is on our front doors.
We are a Motor Inn, so our reception is open all day - this does not mean that we serve food and drinks during that time, just that we are open to book guests into our rooms.
Please note that our breakfasts are only for house guests as well. If an organisation want to book their employees in for a breakfast meeting, we will need you to call or email your details - date, time and numbers - to be confirmed with our chef at least 48 hours prior to your booking date.

KITCHEN HAND WANTED

Kia ora whanau! Our team is looking for a new member! It will only be two days a week for now (with the potential to stay on longer), as we need someone to cover our current kitchen hand while she is away.
We prefer mature, reliable, and responsible applicants able to learn quickly and safely under the guidance of our Head Chef and Manager, Grant Law.
We are located in Kaitaia so please be sure that your mode of transport to and from work is your trusty steed.
Shifts will start at 5:30 PM unless we have a buffet night, in which case you will either start earlier or later, depending on when our guests would like the food to be ready.
Please keep in mind that you will be working in the kitchen so you must wear the appropriate attire: closed-toed shoes, black pants, and a black shirt (or anything you don't mind getting messy when even the apron won't be enough to protect you).
