🇳🇿 ANZAC DAY 🇳🇿
This Saturday we remember those that lost their lives defending our country, including our club members.
At the 1946 AGM, O.R.F.U President Mr A. Cameron, pointed out that Green Island was the only club that had to cease playing owing to the fact that nearly all its members served with the forces.
In that same season it was felt that a record was created with 14 returned servicemen being fielded in one Green Island team.

On Saturday, we take the field for the Battle of the Saddle as we honour those who have served and sacrificed.
Join us at Miller Park as we go head-to-head with The Taieri Rugby Football Club Inc in a clash that means more than just rugby.
Pride is on the line, with both the Bezett Memorial Trophy and the Robb Cup up for grabs.
At 7.30pm in the clubrooms, our special ANZAC jerseys will be auctioned, with a portion of the proceeds proudly donated to the Mosgiel RSA.
Come along, show your support, and be part of a day that celebrates remembrance, rivalry, and respect.
