This weeks' Rooftop Bar cocktail of the week is the Strawberry Princess... Make the most of the sun this week and come taste a stunning combination of Tequila, Aperol, Strawberry and Lemon inspired by the Pineapple Princess, a modern classic named after the 1960's Annette Funicello hit, Pineapple Princess.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to the 45 souls who came out on what may be the winters coldest, wettest night and joined us for a truly amazing sold out Single Malt Whisky Tasting at The Rooftop hosted by the legendary Gwilym 'Big G' Breese, Whisky educator and Lion Spirits Ambassador.

Guests tasted through five classic single malts:
Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old - Highlands
Talisker 10 Year Old - Isle of Skye
Oban 14 Year Old - Oban
Caol Ila 12 Year Old - Islay
Lagavulin 16 Year Old - Islay

And we're also treated to a sixth, bonus whisky:
Mortlach 'The Beast of Dufftown' 13 Year Old (2021 Special Release)

Our recent improvements to weather proof the Rooftop Bar space paid off and everyone stayed dry and warm (the whisky also helped) and enjoyed delicious pizzas and antipasto platters between whiskies.

The truly amazing Taranaki Arts Festival WINTERFEST kicks off today and runs until the 8th of July! There is a wonderful assortment of shows to see and things to do keeping the city busy for the next few weeks!
