I'll always support local cafés and coffee carts where I can. ❤️
But here's my little coffee hill that I will stand by!

If I order a large coffee, I expect a double shot. I'm paying for more coffee, not milk. 😅

Small = Single ☕
Medium = Double ☕☕
Large = Double (minimum!) ☕☕

Just one barista's opinion... but if your large is still a single shot, we need to have a chat cause your coffee isn't coffee and i won't come back to support you! 🥴

Huge thank you to everyone who supported our Matariki menu over the school holidays! 🌌

What a hit! We honestly didn't expect the volume or just how busy the night would be. We're incredibly grateful for every order, every smile, and every bit of support. It truly means the world to a small local business. 💙

Just a reminder:
We're taking Monday and Tuesday off (pending booking numbers), then we'll be back from Wednesday to make the most of the final week of the school holidays.

Matariki is this Friday! 🙌🙌🙌

Just a quick heads up for our LOCALS!!!

We've made sure we've got enough kai sorted for everyone staying at Tasman Holiday Park Miranda, but if you're planning on making the trip from Kaiaua, Miranda, Waitakaruru, Maramarua, Manukau, or anywhere around the district, we'd love it if you could flick us a pre-order.

That way, if we need to grab extra ingredients, we can do it before the weekend rolls around and nobody misses out.

On the menu this Friday:
🐟 Fresh raw fish punnets
🍲 Homemade seafood chowder
🦪 Mussel fritters
✨ Plus a few other tasty bits on the day.

📅 Pre-orders close 5:00pm Thursday. ⚠️ 🚨

🚫 We'll be CLOSED tomorrow (Thursday) because the trailer is entering full "school holiday prep mode." Ive gotta, restock, prep, clean... and probably wondering where all the teaspoons disappeared to. 🤷‍♀️😂

From Friday, we're back into it and ready to tackle the school holiday crowds from 5:00pm onwards!

• 📅 We are fully booked for events until March 2027, unless it's a weekday function. Two spots available November - Email us to discuss availability.

• 🧀 Breakfast platter boxes & charcuterie boxes are available for everyone, whether you're staying at the park or ordering externally.
• 📍 All platter orders must be collected from the trailer site at Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda.

After much consideration and working alongside the bookings and guest numbers at Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda, these will be our extended holiday trading hours. As always, we're a small operation and appreciate everyone's continued support and understanding. 💙

✨ Matariki Weekend Special ✨
Friday 10th July | From 5pm

For one night only, we'll be switching things up with a few special dishes to celebrate Matariki. Alongside our usual favourites, we'll have:
🐟 Fresh raw fish punnets

🍴 And much more....plus a few non-seafood options for those who prefer something different.

We're now well and truly settled into our permanent home at Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda! ☕🍔🌊

As a result, The Roaming Heron trailer will now be hitting the road only for external catering, weddings, private functions, community events, and larger bookings.

We have just ONE Calf Club Day and ONE Thames sports event remaining on our calendar. After that, we're officially fully booked for 2026! Unfortunately school spots were advertised as "fast or ya' last" 🙌☕️

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, booked us, recommended us, and followed our journey. What started as a dream on wheels has become something pretty special.
