It’s that time of year where many people are wanting to adopt a kitten, but there’s not many kittens.

There’s no need to panic that there’s a shortage, and resort to paying hundreds of $$ for kitten from a backyard breeder that hasn’t had a flea or worm treatment let alone been desexed. Give it another month or so and there’ll be kittens galore through until May (approx).

Nippy is one of the last few FN kittens from the last “kitten season” and the plan is still for her to be up for adoption soon, however she adores people and life so very much that I’m keeping her around to participate in our Kitten Shower on Sat 2nd November. There’s been a lot of interest in this hyperactive beauty, be assured that when she’s ready for adoption there will be an adoption post 🩷

Are you missing me?

This old boy turned up at a property on Makara Rd (Karori end) a few days ago and hasn’t left. He’s not in great condition but that could be due to health issues. He is microchipped but it’s not registered.

For now, this boy is in FN care. We’d love to find his family so please get in touch if you know him 🤞

🌸 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🌸

These boys met by chance and have bonded 🥰 Knox was up for adoption last weekend but seemed off, so I removed him. He’s absolutely fine, and over the past week these boys become BFF’s, so I’ve decided they should stay together.

Knox is almost 5mths old and is a playful snuggly little guy. Ember is Wendy’s brother and he doesn’t trust humans. I’ve introduced him to nightly temptations treats and he will yell loudly for his share. One night I went in without treats and boy did I hear about it 😅

With these boys you’d get instant snuggles and love from one, and you’d have to earn the trust of the other. It’s very rewarding to been the trust of a scaredy cat! They’re looking for a home with no small children. M

Knox & Ember have been neutered, microchipped, had one vaccination, and there’s a cost of $215 per kitten to go toward covering their costs.

These boys are available to meet at FNHQ in Roaeneath. You’ll need to impress Knox, as he’s going the choosing of their family on behalf of them both. Send a PM if you’d like to meet them.

Sylvester is looking for new neighbours!

His family would be your landlords, and you are allowed cats of your own but you’d also need to be willing for Sylvester to pop in and hang out with you sometimes 🤷‍♀️😉
