The Archway Cafe is ideally located on Wharariki Beach main carpark, just a 15mn walk away from the gorgeous Wharariki Beach, reknown for its rock, shaped by the sea as an archway. Muffins and sweet treats are baked daily to satisfy your cravings; cold beverages, organic juices and ice creams are available to cool you down after a walk on the beach; fresh sandwiches, white bait patties and pies will get you going for the day, wether you are going back on the road or you just need that energy kick to go and explore the caves, surf on the dunes or go play with the seal pups. The Archway Cafe is not only about food and coffee. Sheltered from the wind by its beautiful, spiritful trees, the Archway is a place for relaxation and peace. While you enjoy your coffee, stroll around the trees to have a look at the crafts and photographs, let your kids play in the playground provided for them, have a nap in the hamac, lulled by the sound of the birds.
