This week, we’re featuring BrĂ©dif Grande AnnĂ©e 1979, Vouvray, a remarkable example of just how gracefully Chenin Blanc can age. Nearly five decades in the bottle have transformed it into something deeply complex, with notes of honey, candied citrus, beeswax and toasted nuts, balanced by a freshness that still feels remarkably alive.

Matthew shares how his experience through the Central Otago Burgundy Exchange gave him the confidence to take a deeper role in both the vineyard and winery, helping shape the next chapter of Folding Hill.
