Sebastian and Daniela met in 2004 in Chile, from there they start an adventure to the other side of the world Aotearoa, New Zealand, Both Chefs with the idea of show to the beautiful people of the “big White cloud” the amazing flavor of Latin America.

Today we stopped by to say thank you to our lovely friends ✨
We spent the whole summer working alongside them, and it truly was such a special experience. Last Sunday we wrapped up our season there, closing a chapter full of hard work, laughter, and beautiful memories.
So grateful for this amazing journey. Thank you for everything 🫶🏼

La Ruca started back in 2012,
We had a different name, a small menu, and one big dream to bring a little piece of our homeland to New Zealand.🇨🇱🫶🏼🇳🇿

What began as a hobby soon became our full-time job.
Thanks to hard work and the amazing support from our friends and customers, our business has grown and improved so much over the years. 🤗

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who supports us — whether it’s by buying from us, liking our posts, or recommending us to others.🙏🏼

We feel so lucky to live in Marlborough and to be part of such a wonderful community. ❤️

And we’ll keep working hard to keep improving and bringing you the best we can, always with love and dedication. 🙌
