Last night I had a very upset Storm crying her heart out that she can't see all of her friends from the cafe, and why did it have to close. She was born into the business, she loved it as if it were her own; and she has been helping clear tables and entertaining customers since she could walk.
After almost 5 years (she be 5 in June), of getting up at 5am to come to work with me, she is loving the sleep ins, but she would trade it in a heartbeat to go back. My poor little workaholic!!!

We had planned to say goodbye properly, but things didn’t quite go the way we had hoped. Instead we just want to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers/friends that helped us make The Postmaster Bakery into one of Riverton’s best loved cafe’s. We thought we’d share a few of our favourite pics from our time at the café, and hope to see you all around and about, fit and well, once the lockdown is over. Hi eveyone, as of today by 4pm we are closed forever!!!!!we will put a post on tomorrow about what is going to happen with garage sale etc.
If you want your custard square, pies, sandwiches slices . come and stock up if you like. still here untill 4pm!!

Monday today! Thinking of all our 70+ and other ones in isolation with a underlaying condition. Deliveries today from 10- 2.30pm if you in need of cake, soup, coffee, treat or sandwich. We have 2 boxes full of magazines if any one woul like some boredom busters!! Message us , we could keep them outside for you or drop them off.

We are open untill 4pm today. The cafe is warm , cosy and safe. Plenty of handsantizer, register book when come in, no more toys, no magazines and spread out of tables.
