Wow what a time we have been through over the past 4 weeks plus. town is a bit like a ghost town, no passing traffic, and no real passing traffic expected for the next 2 - 4 weeks plus. Businesses are doing it tough, but knowing Roxburgh we are made of sterner stuff and trucking on. We ourselves have been very busy working around our house and block, would love the dump to be open but it is what it is, and as an old mate of mine, TED would say, it are what it are. We are aiming to open next Wednesday evening for takeaways only offering our superb blue code and chips, top line burgers, a new line of chicken and chips and bringing back what is describe as the best pizza's in town. also don't forget the best coffees in town, cheese rolls and a few other things. People are already queuing for a coffee and orders taken.
Call 034469121 to place an order or just use the intercom that will be set up at the front door. We have tap and go mobile eftpos available, and will be able to take payment over the phone, cash will not be accepted in the short time.
Things will change over the coming days, and we all need to go with the flow. On behalf of all businesses in town, things will fall over with technology, order taking etc, so please forgive that particular business if things do happen. Remember we are through the worst, and heading towards a prosperous future.
