Hello Everyone,

As you know, the Government is moving to a new Covid-19 Protection Framework, using a new traffic light system from Friday, 3 December 2021. As part of this Framework, all hospitality services (Restaurants, Bars, and Bakeries) wanting to open with little to no restriction at ‘Green’, ‘Orange’ and ‘Red’ require ALL customers, Suppliers and Staff to be vaccinated. We will therefore be required to check everyone’s My Vaccine Certificate/Pass before entering our establishments.

We have made the decision to implement the My Vaccine Certificate first and foremost to protect our Customers, Community and Staff, but also to allow the continuity of our services at all stages of the new framework.

We have always been a business that prides itself on welcoming every sector of our community, so it saddens us that our decision may leave some of you feeling excluded. That is definitely not our intention. We understand this time is very challenging for many people.

It is our mission to preserve the heart and soul of The Waimate Limited Businesses that you know and love. For this to happen, we kindly request the patience and co-operation of the entire community.
We sincerely hope that you will be kind towards our staff, as this is not an easy choice for us.

A huge thank you in advance for your support an understanding as we adjust to these challenging times and this new Framework.
