Bringing wholesome Japanese food into everyday life in Wānaka.

As we work toward opening our food truck, we’re in the kitchen every day — testing, tasting, adjusting — crafting each dish with care.

This is our Chicken & Tofu Hamburger Steak:
fluffy, juicy, and nourishing for both body and soul.

Everything is handmade, from scratch, with love.

📍What it means to contribute through food — in Wānaka.

For us, Wānaka is more than just a beautiful place.
It’s a town we’ve long dreamed of calling home.

Now that we’ve moved here from Japan,
our first priority is to give back to the people who live here —
to become part of the everyday life of this community.

Rather than chasing profit with high-priced products for tourists,
we want to create something locals can enjoy every day.
Something you crave not just on special occasions,
but on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon.

Our mission is simple:
To bring health and comfort to people in Wānaka — young and old — through everyday meals.

With food that’s homemade and full of care,
we hope to quietly support this town we now call home.

🌱Healthy Japanese food for everyday Wānaka life

We are planning to open a healthy Japanese food truck in Wānaka by the end of 2025.


Our menu will feature “homemade” bento boxes and onigirazu (Japanese rice sandwich), crafted with care.

With delicate Japanese flavors, our goal is to offer food that’s healthy, comforting, and something you’ll want to eat every day.


In the future, we hope to expand into homemade dressings and sauces, offer catering for local businesses and schools, and host cooking classes focused on nutrition.


Through food, we want to contribute to the health and happiness of the Wānaka community.

🌿It was such a joy to share these dishes with everyone who joined!

The highlight of the menu was our
✨ Steamed Chicken Breast with Shio-Koji Marinade – tender, juicy, and full of umami.

It paired perfectly with the crowd favorite：
🍶 Leek & Miso Cream Sauce, which had people asking for seconds (and the recipe!).

Out of the 7 side dishes we served, these two stood out：

🥚 Aji-Tama (Soft-boiled soy-marinated egg)
🌶️ Yuzu-Pepper Marinated Mushrooms – packed with flavor and just the right kick.

Our next tasting will be on Sunday, June 8.

On May 15th, we hosted our very first tasting event—and it was a wonderful experience! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us. Your presence and support meant the world to us.

We were deeply moved by your warm words like “Every dish was absolutely delicious” and “I can’t wait for the grand opening!”
Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’re committed to incorporating it as we move forward 😉

Starting in June, we plan to hold tasting events twice a month leading up to our official opening. Stay tuned here on our page for updates on schedules and locations!

Thank you again for being part of our journey. We look forward to seeing you at future events 🍴🌏

🌿Little Earth 初の試食会イベントを開催しました🌿

5月15日、初となるテイスティングイベントを無事に開催することができました！足を運んでくださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。

「どの料理も最高に美味しかった」「オープンが待ちきれません」など、たくさんの暖かい言葉やフィードバックをいただき、心から感謝しています。これからの活動にしっかりと活かしていきます😉

6月からは、オープンまで月2回のペースで試食会を開催予定です。
スケジュールや場所の詳細は、またこちらのページでお知らせしていきますね。
