New coffee release — Finca Soledad Sidra Wave Washed, our first offering from Finca Soledad in Ecuador, and honestly, we are so excited to finally share it. This coffee comes from Pepe Jijon, whose care for this land and this variety comes through in every cup. It is one of the most complex coffees we’ve tasted: purple florals and blackberry up front, melting into sweet stone fruit like nectarine and plum, with a soft thread of herb and warm spice that lingers long after each sip. It’s not just a coffee, it’s a whole sensory journey, one that pulls you in and asks you to slow down. We poured this one with a lot of heart, and we can’t wait for you to taste it too. Come by and experience it with us 🩵

Abbraccio means “embrace” in Italian, and that’s exactly the spirit here: Altieri opening its doors to the exceptional harvests of its closest neighbors in Panama’s coffee community. This lot comes from Hnos Pérez, grown at 1,700 meters in Bambito, Volcán, where altitude and volcanic soil do beautiful things to the cup.

A delicate, natural Geisha worth slowing down for — a deliberate weekend pour-over or an espresso you actually want to taste. Rose, lychee, and golden kiwi come through clear and bright.

Wine Night with Chad — July 17 & 18
Some of you remember Chad’s wine shop just down the street. The lease ended, but the wine guy never really left. Now he‘s back, pouring at Blendin for our very first Wine Night.
Chad and our team tasted our way through the selection together and landed on six bottles for the occasion: two reds, two whites, an orange, and a rosé. Each one chosen with intention, each one worth lingering over.

July Pinnacle release — Esmeralda Lino 5NB

July’s Pinnacle Subscription features a classic Natural processed Geisha from one of our favorite producers — Hacienda La Esmeralda. The Peterson family farm in the Boquete highlands put the variety on the map, first winning the Best of Panama with its Geisha in 2004, and last year made history by sweeping all three categories: Washed Geisha, Natural Geisha, and Varietal.

Lino 5NB was harvested on January 28 from the Lino lot at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes farm. After harvest, the cherries were taken to the estate‘s mill in Palmira, where they were slowly dried on raised beds for 38 days.

In the cup, Lino 5NB showcases elegant white florals reminiscent of gardenia, alongside juicy navel orange and vibrant green apple. It captures everything we love about a classic Natural Panamanian Geisha — floral, expressive, and remarkably clean.

Walking through Adaura Finca Lorayne with Marcus, we got to see the trees behind Bonfire—our house espresso. This Washed Catuai from Finca Lorayne has been the foundation of our espresso program, and we’re proud to share Marcus’s work with every shot we serve.

Of course, Finca Lorayne is also home to some of Panama’s finest Geisha. Stay tuned for this year’s Adaura Geisha releases, featuring a selection of lots that showcase the elegance and complexity that have made the farm so special.

New coffee release — Altieri Geisha Natural RFF5 Ale.

We’re excited to have another Natural Geisha from Altieri back on the shelf. RFF5 stands for River Flow Fermentation for 5 days. After harvest, whole coffee cherries are sealed in bags and placed in the flowing river passing through the farm to ferment before drying. The cool, constant water temperature slows and controls the fermentation process, helping preserve clarity while developing delicate fruit character and complexity.

The result is a beautiful cup with elegant florals, vibrant fruit notes, and exceptional sweetness. Don’t miss this one if you enjoy delicate and fruit-forward Geishas.

Grown at over 1,900 meters above sea level and carefully processed, this lot showcases everything we love about a washed Panamanian Geisha—intense white florals, vibrant citrus, juicy stone fruit notes, and remarkable sweetness in every cup.
