we’ve been putting this off for as long as we can…
every time something got more expensive..ingredients, milk, packaging, supplies, gas, utilities ..we kept trying to make it work without changing our prices right away. we wanted to carry that burden..
Mostly because we know we’re not the only ones feeling it..Everything is expensive right now. ..And we know that our customers feel that too.. 😭
That’s why pricing has always been something we’re very careful about. We want Re:Matcha to stay accessible. We want you to be able to enjoy good matcha, hojicha, coffee, and pastries without feeling like it has to be a luxury or without adding a sense of ‘guilt’ just because it’s priced highly. we’ve always been thinking of you whenever we make our drinks and serve our pastries.
But at the same time, we also want to keep giving you the quality you deserve. And lately, finding that balance has become a little harder due to inflation and other economic factors in the ph that’s affecting us businesses especially us, small local ones. 🥹
So we’ll be making a small adjustment to some of our prices which increases in the ff weeks this October.
We really didn’t want to increase just for the sake of increasing. And even moving forward, we’ll still try our best to be conscious about every peso we add and keep things as gentle as we can, especially with how things are.
As much as possible, we’ll still absorb what we can and we think you deserve an explanation rather than just increasing it without telling you.
We just also don’t want the answer to be using cheaper ingredients, quietly changing the quality of our drinks, or giving you less just so we can say our prices stayed the same.
We hope you understand where we’re coming from.
And more than anything, thank you. 🥹💚 you guys are the reason why we’re here.. why the staff are cared for and serving you well, and why we do what we do. we’re so grateful..
