JOB ANALYSIS, JOB DESCRIPTION AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS OF THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

1. GENERAL MANAGER
Main Purpose:
Look out for all the working of the restaurant. Handles the problems that may arise in any Department. Should be able to open and close the restaurant, purchase food and beverage inventory, open the register, track inventory, train and manage the staff, work with suppliers and manage the advertising. Main Activities:
- Takes responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
- Analyzes and plans restaurant sales level and profitability
- Organizes marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
- Prepares reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
- Creates and executes plans for department sales, profit and staff development.
- Sets budgets and agreeing them with senior management.
- Update and use job-related knowledge.
- Schedule staff work hours and activities.
- Monitor food preparation and methods.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize. Main Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant Management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternate.
- At least 20 years old.
- A resident of Ilocos Norte

HEAD CHEF
Main Purpose:
In charge of making food and adhering to any special requests from the customers. They need to cook food efficiently while making sure that is satisfies the appetite of the customer. To supervise the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Main Activities:
- Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays.
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
- Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations. Main Qualifications:
- Previous experience of cooking and food preparation.
- Basic understanding of health and safety requirements.
- At least 20 years old.
- A resident of Ilocos Norte

CASHIER
Main Purpose:
Incloude cash and credit card transactions, tipping out wait staff, and balancing the register at the end of the shift. The cashier may assists the Wait Staff with various tasks. Must be competent with computerized register system and have good cash handling skills. Main Activities:
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Greet customers entering establishments.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
- Keeps register area neat and stocked with necessary supplies
Main Qualifications:
- Must have an experience in retail sales
- Must be professional, polite and reliable.
- At least 20 years old
- A resident of Ilocos Norte

WAITER/WAITRESS/BUS PERSON
Main Purpose:
Attend to the customer and take their orders. If in case someone has a special request, the waiter/waitress needs to convey that to the chefs. Moreover, they have to keep themselves updated with the food items that are unavailable on the day or are the chef’s specials. Main Activities:
- Takes food and beverage orders from patrons, answers questions regarding prices, substitutions, quality or quantity of menu items and availability of menu items.
- Delivers food and beverages to tables; waits on tables to insure that patrons are supplies with beverage refills or clean utensils when desired.
- Removes dishes and utensils; cleans and dusts tables and chairs; fill containers; sweeps floors.
- Assists in setting yp and taking down tables and chairs; places clean utensils nad napkins on tables. Main Qualifications:
- No prior experience required.
- At least High School Graduate.
- At least 20 years old.
- A resident of Ilocos Norte

DISHWASHER
Main Purpose:
The dishwasher cleans the work area, washes the dishes and executes various tasks to assist the other employees responsible for serving and preparing food and beverages. Main Activities:
- Washes the dishes, glasses, utensils and the pots and pans
- Stores the dishes
- Scrubs the pots and the pans
- Transports the clean dishes, utensils and other objects to work surfaces
- Unpacks and stores the provisions in the refrigerators, the storerooms and other storage areas
- Applies health regulations as to cleanliness
Main Qualifications:
- No prior experience required
- At least High School Graduate
- At least 20 years old
- A resident of Ilocos Norte

SECURITY GUARD
Main Purpose:
Ensure the safety of the restaurant in all respects. Formulates strategies and suggests the use of new security devices and facilities to the management to increase the security. Main Activities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Main Qualifications:
- The requirements for the job of a restaurant security guard are a valid security guard and weapons license. Restaurants train their guards after recruiting.
- At least 20 years old.
- A resident of Ilocos Norte
