Day 4 Food Hunt (last day)

Starting the day with a classic Singapore breakfast at 亞坤 ( Ya Kun Kaya Toast Coffeestall ) —crispy kaya toast, a French toast, soft-boiled eggs, and a comforting cups of kopi and tea.. :-)

For planned lunch, we continued our hunt at Maxwell Food Centre:Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice – tender chicken, fragrant rice, and that flavorful chili sauce. We picked the steam and roasted chicken just to check the difference. We had them for takeaway. An impression: it's like our local tinolang manok. I told Che to recreate them for CBS Kitchen and CBS Kitchen-Bangkal Branch ..

Two stalls away is the Fuzhou Oyster Cake – crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside, with fresh oysters adding a unique touch. Comparable to pinoy empanadas.

Back to our Michelin-recognized food hunt!
After Sentosa, we stopped by Li Xin Teochew Fishball Noodles, the only Michelin-recognized stall at Food Republic. We ordered the Fishball Minced Meat Noodles (Dry) and the Signature Fishball Noodle Soup.

The soup was light, clean, and savory, while the fishballs were delightfully bouncy and chewy. Our favorite, though, was the dry noodles—simple in appearance but packed with rich, well-balanced flavors. It even reminded us of our local palabok, but with its own unique character.

Another well-deserved Michelin recognition. Definitely a stall we'd recommend!

Not food-related this time, but I couldn't help sharing a moment that made us proud (my daughter is there hehehe).

I know recording wasn't encouraged, but seeing many others capturing the performance too, I couldn't resist recording a few short clips.
