Congratulations to our Barista NC II students for passing the TESDA National Assessment today, July 8, 2026!

This rigorous, day-long assessment tested students on the national standards of coffee preparation, safety, hygiene and hospitality.

What's next for these certified baristas? They can:

: Join local café, specialty coffee shops, and resort chains and coffee spots as baristas.
: Launch their very own mobile coffee carts or home-based micro-cafes with profitable costing structures.
: Explore global hospitality and cruise ship employment paths

We are happy to note that some of these students are already entrepreneurs from local brands like Melts, Beaumetrics, and Para. Style and Cafe who are looking at expanding their menus and businesses. We also celebrate our students who landed barista jobs before our class even ended.

You are no longer just coffee lovers - you are officially Certified Barista NC II professionals!

☕✨ Cupmates Coffee Immersion Activity ✨☕

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about coffee and experience the journey behind every cup. From visiting BACOFA and witnessing how Arabica coffee is processed to discovering the story and unique qualities of Geisha coffee at ACU Coffee, every moment was filled with valuable knowledge and inspiration.

This experience was not only fun but also filled with valuable knowledge that will help us grow as aspiring coffee professionals. Every lesson, every conversation, and every cup prepared reminds us that coffee is more than just a beverage.

🌧️ Despite the heavy rain last night, we decided to close earlier than planned. Even so, our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who showed up and supported us.

We honestly didn’t expect the overwhelming support from our families, friends, and even walk-in customers who took the time to visit us. Every cup served, every conversation shared, and every smile received made this experience truly unforgettable.

As our 2-day Pop-Up Coffee Simulation Activity officially comes to an end, we leave with more than just memories. We gained valuable lessons about how small businesses operate, the importance of teamwork, customer service, dedication, and the passion required to build something meaningful. These are experiences and learnings that we will carry with us wherever life takes us.

This may be the end of our pop-up, but it is only the beginning of our journey as future coffee professionals. Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll meet again in our very own cafés.

Our barista classes are still ongoing, and we remain committed to expanding our knowledge and skills. We will continue to explore the art and science of coffee, improve our techniques, and discover the many things a barista can learn both behind the bar and beyond it

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this chapter. Your support means more than words can express.
