The woman behind Jeepok™.....
Cooking always has been a passion for this 35 y/o Filipina wife and mother of 2 beautiful girls. She has always been interested in food. Her passion for cooking runs so deep she often feels it probably already started at birth, she simply can’t imagine life without it. Over the years she has created countless homemade recipes that over time have been modified to perf
ection. Her recipes never failed to impress family and friends. Serving great Food is her pride and joy in life! To, at one day, have her own restaurant always has been her biggest dream. Her husband, who’s a Dutch Citizen, knew from the very first time he tasted her food that she should make use of her extra ordinary talent for cooking and opening up her own restaurant made perfect sense to him. In fact he has been her biggest fan from the start! The idea behind Jeepok was born over a cup of coffee that husband and wife enjoyed together in their humble home back in 2009. The husband, being a Dutch citizen, grew up buying his fresh fried French Fries out of a “Cook Out Trailer”. He felt confident they could use that very same concept for his wife’s restaurant, especially since this concept would be quite unique in the Philippines. A mobile restaurant it would be! Living in the Philippines and having this Mobile Restaurant concept in mind quickly connects with the most popular means of public transportation the Philippines has to offer… the Jeepney! Jeepok is actually short for “Jeep na Patok”, to serve clients the best ride of their lives. A concept so unique and catchy people will immediately love and embrace it. Being the creative spirit she is the wife not only has a exceptional talent for cooking, she also has showcased an equally well developed talent for Interior Design. As a designer she has conceptualized and developed the entire Jeepok theme from the early stage Mobile Restaurant theme to the present semi Fast Food Restaurant concept. From interior to menu, she specially designed Jeepok to satisfy the needs of the entire Philippines and its MASA! Her dream was to serve every Filipino with not only a meal that is tasty, but with a meal that is very tasty, extremely satisfying and very affordable priced all at the same time. In July of 2012, after 3 years of preparation, with the help of her husband that is exactly what she did... :) Together they opened Jeepok to the public, dreaming of becoming one of the Country’s leading Semi Fast Food Chains.
