AKELCO POWER ADVISORY | NGCP'S SCHEDULED POWER INTERRUPTION
Please be informed that a scheduled power interruption will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., affecting the coverage areas of Nabas, Lezo, Andagao, and Altavas Substations.
The interruption is necessary for the continuation of comprehensive wood pole replacement along the Nabas–Sapian 69kV line and maintenance works at Nabas Substation.
AFFECTED AREAS: Coverage areas under Andagao, Altavas, Lezo, and Ibajay (Nabas) Sub-stations.
Covered areas of AKELCO substations in Altavas:
▪️Aklan –
▪️Whole Municipality of Altavas;
▪️Whole Municipality of Balete
▪️Whole Municipality of Batan
▪️Capiz – Barangay Damayan, Sapi-an
Covered areas of AKELCO substations in Kalibo:
▪️Whole Municipalities of Kalibo, Banga and New Washington
Covered areas of AKELCO under Nabas Sub-station:
▪️Whole Municipality of Ibajay;
▪️Whole Municipality of Nabas (except Libertad, Tagaroroc, Unidos, Rizal, Pawa, Union);
▪️Bagongbayan, Buruanga;
▪️Pandan and Libertad, Antique
Covered areas of AKELCO under Lezo Substation:
Whole Municipalities of: Tangalan, Makato, Numancia, Lezo, Libacao, Madalag and Malinao
We encourage our valued Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) in the affected areas to take the necessary precautions and make appropriate preparations ahead of the scheduled interruption.
Power will be restored as soon as the scheduled activities are completed.
