Hemma Manila

Hemma is the Swedish word for "at home" and that is really the mission I have with my food. I want you to feel at home and I want you to want to come back for more. Smörgåstårta is the Swedish word for Sandwich cake and in Sweden we usually have this delight for special occasions. Birthdays, celebrations and other memorable days. We also like to share a piece of smörgåstårta with our loved ones in

front of the TV on a cozy Friday night. I know that many has frowned upon the idea of a cake made of sandwiches - but it is really good. It is layered sandwiches with different home made spreads, topped of with shrimp/salmon, roast beef or ham/cheese. If you haven't tried it yet - it is definitely a must try! Every Sunday, I will also post the "lunch of the week" for the coming week, so keep your eyes out for that. It'll be light food that makes me feel "hemma" and hopefully, it will create the same feeling for you. At the moment, I don't have the possibility of delivering my orders but I will have pickup points in Alabang (all week) and in McKinley Hill (week days).
