𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 stands in solidarity with the people of Mindanao as we celebrate the Mindanao Week of Peace from November 28 to December 4, 2024. The celebration aligns with Proclamation No. 127 Series of 2001, "𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞" recognizes the common aspirations of Mindanaons to live in peace, unity, and harmony with each other regardless of the status of life, religion, or culture.
To commence the activities, MSUN IPDM cordially invites all individuals to join us for a 𝙆𝙖𝙋𝙀𝘼𝘾𝙀𝙩𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙈𝙎𝙐 𝙖𝙩 𝙉𝙖𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣: 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙐𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 from November 29 to December 2-4, 2024, at the MSUN Grounds. The primary objective is to establish a platform for local farmers to showcase local products resulting from sustainable agricultural practices and environmental conservation efforts. Then a culmination activity on a digital competition focusing on "Caring the Earth's Resources" organized by FPE 101 students will take place on December 3, 2024 with the aim to to engage student awareness of the Mindanao Week of Peace through ICT Integration in advocating environmental peacebuilding.
Together we can foster peace by ensuring food security and involving the younger generation in educational initiatives.
