Good day, mga Ka-Kalye!
With heavy hearts, we would like to share that our operations will officially continue only until the end of May.
For the past months, our team gave nothing less than our best. We showed up every day with dedication, hope, and the genuine intention to keep this dream alive. We stayed silent about everything that happened last year—not because there was nothing to say, but because we chose peace over noise, and dignity over public conflict.
We built this business with sincerity. We only wanted to create a place where people could enjoy good food, feel at home, and where honest hard work could provide for our team and families. But somewhere along the way, things changed.
This was never about the food. It was never about the long hours or the hard work. It was about the people behind it—the trust we gave, the respect we offered, and the intentions we believed were mutual. Unfortunately, not all of that was returned.
Some disappointments are harder to accept when they come from the people you trusted most.
Owning a business requires full commitment, and we understand that wholeheartedly. In our case, balancing the demands of running the restaurant daily while managing another business became a challenge we could no longer ignore.
This decision was not made lightly. It came after months of trying, adjusting, sacrificing, and holding on for as long as we could.
To everyone who supported us, ate with us, shared our space, and became part of our story—thank you. Thank you for every visit, every kind word, every shared meal, and every bit of support you gave us.
You made this journey meaningful.
We may be closing this chapter, but we will always be grateful for what Ka-Kalye became and for everyone who became part of it.
