San Ildefonso is our mother's beloved hometown. As a child I looked forward to summer vacations filled with fond memories. We stayed at our Lola Edeng's house who cooked Sinampalukan and calderetang manok for her grandchildren. We hopped from farm to farm to play, snack on macopa, chico or sampalok. Breakfast featured gatas ng kalabaw on steaming rice. Fiestas had lechon with homemade sauce, and tinumis or Dinuguan.

If you ever find yourself in San Ildefonso, drop by our tiny shop in Brgy. Pinaod amidst the busy talipapa so you can have a taste of our Crispy favorites and explore the little hometown that is also known for delicious garlic longanisa, chicharon and pastillas.
