TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES ON DECEMBER 8, 2022

We are closing our galleries and offices at the National Museum Complex in Manila as well as our regional, area, and site museums across the country on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

This is in observance of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, declared a special non-working holiday by virtue of Republic Act No. 10966.

Regular operations will resume the next day.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE CENTRAL MUSEUMS OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES FROM MARCH 20 TO APRIL 5, 2021.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 103 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, dated March 18, 2021, the National Museum of the Philippines regretfully informs the public that its central museums within the National Museum Complex in Rizal Park, Manila – namely the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History – will be temporarily closed for a two-week period from March 20 to April 5, 2021.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding and support of government efforts to manage the pandemic and .

The Regional Museums of the National Museum Network, all being located in areas presently placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) are allowed by Resolution No. 103 to remain open and therefore shall continue to welcome visitors under previously announced health and safety guidelines.
