If you’ve been to Kapesanan, you might have noticed that a lot of the things around aren’t actually brand new.
Our café itself was once an old house. Some of the wood you see has been repurposed, our chairs and tables came from surplus finds or extra pieces we already had, and even shipping containers have found a new purpose in our little space.
We’re far from perfect, but in our own little ways, we try to be more mindful of what we use, what we keep, and what we can give a second life.
Speaking of second lives, we had some leftover fabric from one of our events and thought, why not turn it into something useful?
And that’s how this little Kapesanan tote bag came to life! 👜
