Ladies and gentlemen, guests, friends - good evening
We’ve got good news, and bad news.
The good news is that we’re back- bringing the same commitment to quality and friendly service, with a brand new personality! We call it:
“Noveltea”
and this lakeside bakeshop & teahouse is a masterpiece of nature that you have to see to believe. (Opening Feb, 2020)
We’re going back to our roots with “Noveltea”, building a unique cultural space around art & community. That means more paintings, poetry, open mics, but it also means taking the concept way beyond aesthetics... in a fun/organic sort of way. Reimagining, for instance, how we socialize and entertain ourselves- in order to bring people together and create a meaningful personal experience for every guest.
At the same time, a specialized menu lets us bake everything fresh everyday, at more inclusive prices. Cakes, tarts, pies (sweet or savory) - we’ve got your confectionary fix, paired perfectly with our range of coffees, teas, and juices.
Keep an eye out for our sign at the historic Ayub National Park (an environmental treasure that predates Pakistan) and updates on our social media, revealing more about the journey & all that is yet to come for “Noveltea”.
We’re the same. Only, different.

Bad news: By now, you must’ve heard that Remanence at Beverly Center has been shut down for now.
We did everything we could.
Sometimes, it’s not enough.
Ultimately, we are grateful to our guests & patrons for being a part of this incredible journey and making it possible in the first place.
As unfortunate and unexpected as it was, this period helped us reflect deeply about our goals, values, and what’s unique about us as a young brand of entrepreneurs.
It’s the dawn of the decade. We are very excited about what’s coming next!
Consider the tea spilled.
Best wishes & happy new year!
-Team Remanence / Noveltea
PS: I’m sure everyone has a lot of questions; more to follow.
