مسلم دنیا کی حالت کو دیکھنے کے بعد میں اس نتیجے پر پہنچا ہوں کہ پاکستان ان سب میں سب سے زیادہ چالاک اور سخت جان ملک ہے۔ اس نے دہائیوں تک آمریت برداشت کی، شیعہ سنی تنازعات اور طالبان کے دور سے گزرا، ایک ایٹمی طاقت رکھنے والے ملک کے حملے کا سامنا کیا اور پھر بھی اسے شرمندہ کرنے میں کامیاب رہا۔ اس نے عالمی طاقتوں کے دونوں دھڑوں سے تعلقات بنائے اور اس کے باوجود ایٹمی ہتھیار بنانے میں کامیاب ہو گیا۔ صرف 75 سال پرانا ملک ہونے کے باوجود، چاہے حالات کتنے ہی خراب کیوں نہ ہوں، سب سے بڑھ کر زندہ رہنے کی اس کی صلاحیت اور عزم واقعی قابلِ تعریف ہے۔
جیسے کہ:
نہیں، ہمیں اپنے دفاع کے لیے کسی کے فوجی اڈوں کی ضرورت نہیں۔
ہمارے پاس کسی کو بیچنے کے لیے کوئی خاص چیز نہیں۔
ہم نسلی یا مذہبی طور پر بھی یکساں نہیں ہیں۔
ہم میں سے اکثر تو بجلی کے بل تک مشکل سے ادا کر پاتے ہیں۔
ہم نے جمہوریت کو مذاق بنا دیا ہے۔
ہم کسی روحانی رہنما کی بات نہیں سنتے اور نہ ہی ایٹمی ہتھیاروں کے خلاف کسی فتوے کو مانتے ہیں، کیونکہ ہمیں جو چیز محفوظ رکھتی ہے ہم اسے چھوڑنے والے نہیں۔
ہم شاید ایک کالی بھیڑ کی طرح ہیں، مگر ہم اب بھی موجود ہیں اور ہمیشہ موجود رہیں گے۔
