After attaining huge success in the UK and becoming the leader in its segment, since the year 2000 Mr. Cod has been steadily expanding internationally across Europe and Asia and now has operations in Belgium, Sweden, Pakistan and New Zealand. Plans are to be even more aggressive with the international expansion and to bring Mr. Cod’s highly preferred menu of delicious foods to many other regions of the world. Cod has more than 30 years of experience in delivering quality operations, franchise development and meeting customer satisfaction. This experience is shared with all our operations with best practice sharing being a cornerstone of our success whenever we move into a new market. Right from market selection to ex*****on of our operations we ensure that we put in all the hard work so that our franchisees can reap the rewards from our wealth of experience. Our food is based on the ideology of “Eat delicious. The roots of the company, however, still lie in the British quality fast food and are leverage Mr. Cod's special Fish & Chips with the added bonus of Mr Cod's famous chicken products that are, in the opinion of our customers and existing franchisees, superior to any multinational competitor. John Brewer, who founded Mr. Cod, continues to be a guiding light for it even today. He is one of the original pioneers of fast food franchising in the UK. Starting out in 1970 as a Director of Kentucky Fried Chicken he also became a founder member of the British Franchise Association, and a founder member of the British Fast Food Federation. He is still very active in our company and personally takes a great interest in the expansion and development of the company. He manages the selection of all new franchisees for the UK as well as new master license holders in our international expansion.
