Alguém muito especial escreveu a nossa história.

Um sonho de amor e especiarias
Claudia, nascida na Serra da Estrela, no alto das montanhas de Portugal, conheceu Rajeev, nascido aos pés do majestoso Himalaia, no ano em que todos vivemos a pandemia da Covid. Ela, corajosa e trabalhadora. Ele, criativo e viajante do mundo.

Uniram forças e as suas vidas, lançando de casa um delicioso serviço de entrega de comida indiana.

Do sucesso e dos pedidos contínuos dos clientes, germinou outra ideia: Um restaurante. Um restaurante diferente, de comida indiana. Único por respeitar as antigas receitas, ingredientes e tradições familiares do Norte da Índia. Ambos almejavam um cardápio diferenciado, produtos de qualidade superior, higiene impecável e uma decoração temática encantadora.

Em 10 de junho de 2021, há cinco anos, nasceu um sonho conjunto de amor e especiarias: The Curry Leaf.

O talento de Claudia para o atendimento e a hospitalidade, aliado ao dom culinário de Rajeev, unidos para o nosso deleite! Hoje é um dia de celebração, mas somos, nós, clientes, que desfrutamos e desfrutaremos do sonho de amor e especiarias da Claudia e do Rajeev.

Someone very special wrote our story

A dream of love and spice
Claudia, born at Serra da Estrela, the high hills of Portugal, met Rajeev, born at the feet of the mighty Himalayas, the year when we all lived through Covid. She, brave and hard working. He, creative and a world traveller.
They joined forces and their lives and launched from their home a delicious indian food delivery service.
From their success and continuous clients' orders germinated another idea. A restaurant. An Indian food restaurant. Unique for its respect for old family North India recipes ingredients and tradition. They were both aiming for a different menu, superior quality of products, hygiene and lovely themed decor.
10th June 2021, five years today, a joint dream of love and spice was born. The Curry Leaf.
The talent of service and hospitality of Claudia, and the flair of cooking delicious food of Rajeev blended together for our delight! Today is a day of celebration, but in the days to come we clients will benefit from their dream of love and spice.

Desde que abrimos o nosso restaurante , que detectamos um problema de acústica no nosso espaço. Sendo por vezes desconfortável para quem nos visitava. Sendo os feedbacks da comida sempre bons. Apenas era apontado este problema. Sendo para nós uma prioridade o bem estar doa clientes. Finalmente fizemos a aquisição de paineis acústicos. Esperemos assim ter solucionado o problema ou pelo menos atenuar bastante.

The Curry Leaf is proud to anounce that the restaurant will have acustic panels installed, in order to offer our clients a better experience. The inside noise especially when it is full, as usual, will significantly decrease. This is an action following some of our clients' remarks.

Chef Kunal Kapur is an Indian celebrity chef and restaurateur known for hosting and judging MasterChef India. I spent some time with this old memories .. I have not forgotten what I learnt from him till date. It was a priceless time for me. (Crown Plaza Hotel, Gurugram, Delhi 2010 )
